The Baton Rouge Metro Council delayed a decision on the capitol improvements bond proposal.
Councilors will now wait until September to vote on the issue. EBR Mayor President Kip Holden made a change to his $887 million plan.
He added the cities of Zachary and Baker to the proposal after first leaving them off. Holden said the mayors of those cities wanted to be included in the proposal.
Metro council members will vote on the issue September 2nd.
