Wednesday night the East Baton Rouge Metro Council will hold a public hearing on the proposed bond issue.
The meeting will begin at 4:00 this evening in the Metro Council Chambers.
Mayor Kip Holden's $887 million tax plan would pay for road improvements and a new prison.
Councilors will hear from the public and eventually decide whether to put it on the November ballot.
