Several deadly car accidents over the weekend raised questions about safety on the roads. A tragic collision on I-10 killed four people and police believe cell phone use was a factor.
Locals say they worry about other drivers texting on the roads, but a new Louisiana law bans texting while driving.
Talking or texting on a cell phone are examples of dangerous distractions. The National Safety Council says distracted driving accounts for eighty percent of all traffic accidents.
