Tax returns to come on pre-paid debit cards

BATON ROUGE, La (NBC33) — Louisiana residents can get their income tax refunds in a different form this year.

If you don't choose direct deposit for your refunds, you'll get the money, instead, on a pre-paid debit card. The Louisiana MyRefund Card can be used at stores and banks, and they can be managed online.

The card has to be activated beefore it can be used. You do that by calling a toll free number.
