NEW ORLEANS, LA (NBC33) — Prosecutors say criminal charges could be filed against BP workers in the Crisis on the Coast.
There's no word on what the charges will be, or even when they'll be filed.
Since the April 20, 2010 explosion of the Deep Water Horizon, BP, along with other companies like Transocean and Halliburton have been trading blame on who's responsible for the Crisis on the Coast.
BP is already facing more than 300 lawsuits by property owners, shrimpers, and many others along the Gulf Coast.
A civil trial is set to start in February, 2012.
Prosecutors say they hope to decide on criminal charges before that trial starts.
