TERRYTOWN, LA (WDSU) — Three people suffered non-life-threatening injuries on Saturday when shots were fired along the Westbank Expressway.

Officials with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office said the incident happened about 3 p.m. where the freeway meets Terry Parkway.
All three of the victims are 17 years old.
A family member told WDSU that five people were walking, with an infant, to Oakwood Center when shots were fired from a passing vehicle. The car was driving on the lower portion of the expressway.
JPSO did not release a motive. Investigators describe the vehicle as a Chevy Impala but did not have additional details.
