The man convicted for the 4th of July levee shootings will spend 12 years in prison. Drew Collins faced up to 20 years in prison, after he was convicted on two counts of aggravated battery. Collins was sentenced to six consecutive prison terms on each count. Collins attorney plans to appeal the sentence.
