South Korean officials talk to Chinese about disarmament

NBC News — South Korea's nuclear negotiator arrived in Beijing thursday to meet his Chinese counterpart. The two will discuss the future of stalled six party disarmament negotiations with North Korea.

The meeting comes days after the death of North Korean leader Kim Jong Il. Concerns over what will happen next in the unpredictable communist enclave have sharply raised tensions around Northeast Asia.
