BATON ROUGE,LA (NBC33) — Members of Exxon Mobil shared the gift of reading with some youngsters today.
They read to children at the New Horizons Head Start Center in Baton Rouge. They also handed out books to the kids.
It's a way for the company to encourage education and to volunteer in the community,"We know that a quality education is waht produces the high-quality people that we'll need in the future," says Exxon employee Catherine Grey.
This is the fourth year Exxon has taken part in this reading program.
