BATON ROUGE,LA (NBC33) — Fireworks are helping to support domestic violence victims.
"Women Outreaching Women" is a shelter for these women. It provides support groups, counseling and shelter for Livingston Parish victims.
From now until New Year's Day sales from their store in Denham Springs on 26852 4-H Club Road will go towards this needy cause. They say these are funds they really need.
"They are badly needed, badly needed. It's getting tighter and tighter every year and we receive no government funding for our shelter," says W.O.W. representative Andy Deshazer.
"Woman Outreaching Women" has been helping domestic violence victims since 2002.
