Drew Brees makes long-awaited appearance on Sesame Street

SESAME STREET — Whether you have young kids or not, many tuned into see Drew Brees on Sesame Street this morning.

Brees filmed the special segment months ago, before the start of this year’s regular season.

Brees joins Sesame Street Muppet Elmo the monster to introduce today's "word of the day." Brees said his older son Baylen, who's almost three, thinks Dad being on Sesame Street is way more cool than Dad being an NFL QB.
