TERREBONNE PARISH, LA (NBC33) — Another lawsuit has been filed in the Crisis on the Coast. This one on behalf of more than 100 people, mostly from Terrebonne Parish.
According to the lawsuit, BP, Transocean, and another company, Cameron International, “owed a duty to exercise reasonable care to plaintiffs in the design of the Deepwater Horizon.”
The suit says BP and Transocean are responsible for their “gross negligence” and the people suing are entitled to damages.
BP set up a $20 billion fund to help pay people impacted by the Crisis on the Coast.
