BAKER, LA (NBC33) — This morning, the Baker Police Department along with the Delta Task Force, executed two search warrants that produced a quarter pound of marijuana.
The search was at a home on Hickory Drive and happening in the morning on Friday, Dec. 9. Police say the drugs were found in a common area of the home where small children were located and could reach the items.
Three people were arrested. They include Dwayne Caleb McBride (28) and Darrell Christopher McBride (23), both of Baker; charging both men with Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana.
Later, a second search warrant at a home on North Azalea Drive yielded the seizure of more drugs and digital scales. Two were arrested at this residence. They include Ronnie Franklin Jr. (27) also of Baker; charging him with Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana. In addition, officers arrested Tammie Washington (36) of Clinton, who had outstanding warrants on an unrelated matter.
All four were booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
