Twenty seven year old Robyn Desormeaux was a mainstay on the LSU women's soccer team from 2000-2004.
While on the team, she had 28 career wins and was named team defensive most valuable player.
But in her senior year, doctors diagnosed her with ewing's sarcoma. She spent the past five years battling the disease.
Friends say Desormeaux lived life to the fullest, and left a legacy of hope at the University.
