NBC News — Environment activists were arrested along the sidelines of the U.N.'s climate change conference in South Africa monday. Greenpeace protesters were arrested after rappelling down the wall of the conference venue.
The activists want world leaders to quickly approve a new measure to curb carbon emissions. Three U.N. reports released in the last month showed that the time was running out to curb emissions and that climate change was leading to rising sea levels, crop failures, droughts and intensifying storms.
