NEW ORLEANS, LA. (NBC33) — The New Orleans Film Society with DesCours Metropolis Magazine and the Contemporary Arts Center, present a free screening of "Brilliant Simplicity."
The traveling short film probes the thinking behind a new generation of breakthroughs in materials, methods, and things, tracing new ideas from inspiration to prototype. It tells the stories of designers at work on making their world more energy efficient and healthy, using their high-level technical skills and their innate desire to make things.
This 25 minute film will be shown in New Orleans at the DesCours' fifth annual architecture and art event. The screening is free.
It will take place on Monday, Dec. 5th at 6:00 p.m. at the Contemporary Arts Center located at 900 Camp St. in New Orleans.
