If you're looking for a little extra cash this holiday, the state treasury might have something for you.
The Louisiana Treasury is holding over $500 million in unclaimed money, including everything from savings and checking accounts, uncashed payroll checks, and even utility deposits.
One in six people in Louisiana has unclaimed property, and the refunds range from $25 up to $400.

Also, the Internal Revenue Service says Louisiana taxpayers are owed more than a million dollars in undelivered tax refunds.
The IRS is looking to return the money to about 1,400 people.
These refunds were never delivered because of mailing mistakes.
