BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Many presidential contenders politicking right up to Thanksgiving Day, even former Louisiana Governor Buddy Roemer still hitting the campaign trail hard.
Roemer appeared on MSNBC with Martin Beshir. So far, Roemer has not been included in any of the republican debates. But Beshir gives Roemer a chance to talk about his views on America's dependence on foreign oil.
"I am a freedom loving person and I think it's a disgrace,” Roemer said. “We owe all the foreign nations in the middle east homage. It's corrupting our foreign policy, Martin."
Martin Beshir gave Roemer nearly 6 minutes of air time and covered several topics.
Louisiana's former governor and congressman continues to campaign heavily in the northeast part of the country.
