NBC NATIONAL NEWS — At least six people are dead after a line of powerful storms swept across the Southeast Wednesday evening.
Daylight revealed how devastating the storms were.
A suspected tornado near Rock Hill, South Carolina is being blamed for leaving three people dead.
Five others were injured.
Davidson County, North Carolina was also hit hard.
Two people were killed there and 10 others injured.
The same system swept across Alabama and Georgia earlier Wednesday, killing one man near Atlanta when a tree fell on top of his vehicle.
At least 15 people were injured in southern Mississippi from strong winds that were likely a tornado.
