NBC NEWS — TheThanksgiving holiday is Amtrak’s busiest travel time of the year.
They will be adding more trains and rail cars to a number of routes, including those going through Chicago and the Midwest.
The day before Thanksgiving and the Sunday after is expected to be the busiest. Passengers are advised to buy tickets early, arrive at the station early, and carry a valid picture ID.
