Lousiana (NBC33) — The Department of Health and Hospitals says the state's Medicaid program is more than $120 million in the hole.
The state says they'll use federal money to help with the deficit.
DHH says they'll also cut some programs that provide home services to the elderly and disabled.
The agency says the shortage comes from growth in Medicaid enrollment and people using more services that expected.
