Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — The TV Show "The Real World" is giving kids in Baton Rouge the chance to be a part of MTV history.
Casting calls for season 27 of thepopular show was held at Mugshots Saturday afternoon until 3 p.m.
Potential cast members were asked to show a recent photo, and were interviewed in groups of ten.
Casting Director Jessica Thompson says of all the towns she's been to, there seems to be a certain charm in people from the southern United States.
"I think the South is known for hospitality, genuine people and really passionate people. I've definitley noticed that a lot today. I feel like everyone has something they're passionate about," said Thompson.
