Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — Saturday at the annual ALS walk, some Red Stick residents had a different way of supporting the fight against Lou Gehrig's Disease.
For those of you who don't know, this is a flash mob. These dancers practiced all week and took the ALS walk by surprise when they broke out in a fully choreographed dance.
The flash mob organized to assist the ALS association in providing a day of hope for patients with ALS.
Leonard Augustus is the leader of the Baton Rouge Flash Mob, and he says he's happy to dance for a good cause.
"To see that turn into sheer excitement, and taking pictures and videoing with their cell phones, it's a great feeling that you cannot really explain," said Augustus.
