BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — The Renaissance Baton Rouge has been in the works for ten years. The place has been opened for about two weeks, but the official unveiling happened earlier this morning on Thursday, Oct. 27.
The hotel has more than 250 rooms and has a restaurant offering food from Tallulah.
The building had been covered in graffiti and called an eyesore by many in Baton Rouge. The developer of the Renaissance says he's happy that's no longer the case.
The hotel was a $45 million project.
