Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — City and parish employees will have to pay more for health insurance.
Metro Council approved a three percent hike at last night's meeting.
The increase means it'll now cost city and parish workers almost $130 a month for individual health insurance, and more than $500 a month for a family plan.
The hike goes into effect next year.
