Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — Former House Speaker Jim Tucker tells NBC33 he's not throwing in the towel on the Secretary of State's race just yet.
Right now, clerks of court across the state are working to certify election results. Once that's done, all the results come to Baton Rouge for inspection at the Secretary of State's office.
Tucker says he won't concede until all of the certification is completed.
According to unofficial election results, Tucker lost to incumbent Secretary of State Tom Schedler by about 8,000 votes.
