Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) —
Tomorrow, the Greater Baton Rouge State Fair will open their gates for another exciting year.
Folks have been setting up for more than a week to make sure that this year is the best ever.
It's got all the old favorites - classic rides, good food, and carnival games - and they'll have a petting zoo for the kids.
Organizers have been putting on the fair for 41 years, but they say it never gets old.
"I just like the activity,” stated organizer Warren Wilson. “I like the people coming out. I like all the food we have out here on the independent midway, and we've got some food back on the midway carnival area too."
The gates open tomorrow at 5 p.m. and it runs through November 6.
