HAMMOND, LA. (NBC33) — A Hammond man is now in police custody for aggravated rape to a six year old.
Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards reports that on October 22, 2011, deputies arrested Earl Thomas, 17, of Hammond. Thomas was apprehended and taken into custody without incident.
It is reported that 17 year old Thomas forced the minor to perform a sexual act. This behavior was witnessed by another subject who walked into the room while the incident was taking place.
TPSO Juvenile Detectives are investigating the case.
