BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Jury selection is underway in the "Operation Blighted Officials" trial for Port Allen Police Chief Frederick Smith [1].
Smith is accused of taking bribes and of promoted the fictional garbage truck company "Cifer 5000". Smith faces up to 130 years in prison and $3500 in fines if convicted.
