BATON ROUGE, LA — For two and a half quarters Friday night’s football game between Parkview and Baker was like many other gridiron battles around the Baton Rouge area. Parkview led Baker 22-0 with just over six minutes remaining in the third quarter. Then a fight erupted. A source at the game, which saw the fight between the teams, says it was like nothing he's ever seen before. Both benches cleared, players and coaches exchanged blows.
The details as to what exactly cause the fight are unknown. A Parkview fan tells NBC33 that the Baker coaching staff disagreed with a particular call. That argument eventually turned into a fight. The off the field issues were so bad the referees had to call the game a that point.
Parkview received the win as they were ahead at the time, 22-0.
