NBC NATIONAL NEWS — A group of Hazelwood, Missouri middle school students are in trouble after gathering in a school bathroom to fight and then posting video on YouTube.
The fighting happened at Hazelwood East Middle School before it was put online for the world to see.
The video shows kids trading punches while others stand nearby, laughing and cheering them on.
Four videos were posted by a student on YouTube before a parent found it and contacted the district.
Parents said even though this is apparently just a case of kids goofing around, it needs to stop.
"It's very surprising and concerning that students would even have the time to mingle and do this type of activity," said one parent.
A district spokesperson wasn't available for an interview, but said they learned of the situation early Tuesday afternoon.
The principal has disciplined the students and has also come up with a plan to increase bathroom supervision.
