Flood warnings remain in effect for three parishes along the Amite River.
The river is expected to crest Wednesday, after rain Tuesday afternoon and tonight.
East Baton Rouge, Livingston and St. Mary parishes fall into this flood threat.
Ascension parish officials have also closed off launches to the Amite River and the diversion canal.
