New York, NY (NBC33) — NBA Comissioner David Stern has officially cancelled the first two weeks of the regularly scheduled nba season.
That comes after NBA officials and basketball players couldn't come to terms over labor disputes.
Both sides met in New York City for negotiations hoping to avoid the loss of these regularly scheduled games however they could not come to terms by today's end of business day deadline.
Last week NBA Commissioner David Stern cancelled all remaining preseason games.
