BATON ROUGE, LA — A Eunice man has been arrested and charged with pornography involving juveniles and computer-aided solicitation of a minor, announced Attorney General Buddy Caldwell.
Scott Nicholas Martel, 22, of 1401 W. Park Ave., was arrested Friday as a result of a joint investigation involving the Louisiana Attorney General’s High Technology Crime Unit, Baton Rouge Constable’s Office, Fergus County Sheriff’s Department (State of Montana), and Eunice Police Department. Martel was booked into the Eunice Police Department.
If convicted, Martel could face up to 10 years in prison and would be required to register as a sex offender.
