Wife shot at local business by husband

Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — A shooting in a Baton Rouge business leaves a wife in the hosiptal and her husband, in jail.

The woman's husband, Calixto Aleman, busted through the back door into the kitchen where his wife was working, and shot her three times before the gun jammed.

Baton Rouge police says this case, and another recent triple homicide also related to domestic abuse, should be a wake-up call for victims to get out and ask for help.
