Opelousas, La (NBC33) —
Police are investigating a stabbing at Opelousas High that left one student in the hospital. It all happened just after 7:00 a.m.
NBC33 News is told the victim was stabbed twice in his stomach, and once in his leg. Opelousas Police say the victim and two other students, who are brothers, began an argument on a school bus, then continued to fight in a school bathroom.
Opelousas Police say they have recovered the knife used, and arrested the two teens accused of stabbing the victim, who is expected to survive.
Detectives tell us the found a pair of brass knuckles on the victim, and that the school wasn't evacuated. There were no other injuries. Police are continuing their investigation.
