NEW IBERIA, LA — Sheriff Louis Ackal states that on September 15, 2011 detectives with the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office were included in a joint operation involving (ICAC), Internet Crimes Against Children, along with the Louisiana State Police Region II Child Exploitation unit, Federal Bureau of Investigations and St. Landry Sheriff's Office.
As a result of this ongoing operation to fight child exploitation and child pornography, two suspects were arrested in Iberia Parish. Jackie Graham, 29, of New Iberia was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana 2nd offence. At the time law enforcement officers executed the search warrant on Graham’s residence, officers located drug paraphernalia and illegal narcotics.
Graham also had her four children present in the residence along with the illegal drugs. The four children, ages 5, 7, 9 and 11 were removed from Graham’s custody and placed with a family member.
On a separate search warrant conducted by the taskforce, officers arrested Quinn David, 24, of New Iberia for indecent behavior with a juvenile and computer aided solicitation of a minor. Both suspects were booked into the Iberia Parish Jail.
