Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — Mayor Pro-Tem Mike Walker has no plans yet to run for Mayor Kip Holden's job.
In recent weeks, Walker has worked on proposals that he says would help fix Baton Rouge's bridges and lower the Capitol City's crime rate.
This is after he and the Metro Council denied Holden's $748 million bond proposal that included both of those elements.
He says he's only doing what's best for those that put him in office.
