Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — Mayor-President Kip Holden says Baton Rouge did as well as they could through the storm.
Holden told NBC33 news his staff was ready for Lee when it came.
He says crews from Entergy, DPW, Demco, and MOHSEP kept his office up to date on storm closures and problems.
"Our team was already prepared to take care of any situation that dealt with tree limbs, anything that dealt with water, and high water in any area,” said Holden. “Everyone was on alert."
The mayor went on to say though things could have been worse in the Capitol City, Lee was a good reminder to stay prepared.
