BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Traveling is one of the biggest events that happens every year over Labor Day weekend. This year, however, a disturbance in the Gulf may ruin many travel plans.
Tropical Storm Lee is pushing towards the coast and is expected to dump massive amounts of rain on southern Louisiana all weekend. The Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport advises that although flight delays are minimal, passengers are encouraged to contact the airline for flight status updates if you are traveling any time between Friday, Sept. 2 through Monday, Sept. 5.
