NBC News — Samsung is trying to overturn a ban on selling its Galaxy Tablets in Germany. A Duesseldorf court temporarily barred the company from selling its tablets earlier this month after an injunction filed by Apple. Apple said the Galaxy line of mobile phones and tablets copied its I-pad and I-phone. Apple claimed Samsung's latest tablet the Galaxy Tab 10.1 copied the I-pad's design, look and feel.
Samsung's Galaxy Tab is built on Google's Android operating system. Apple's temporary injunction barred Samsung from selling its tablets in most of the European Union. A European court lifted most of the injunction last week and limited it to Germany.
