With the first game of the season right around the corner, the LSU Tigers are trying to shift their focus away from the Friday's bar fight at Shady's.
Coach Les Miles hosted his first radio show of the football season at TJ Ribs on Acadian Thruway Wednesday night. LSU fans packed into the restaurant to hear what Coach Miles had to say about the upcoming season.
Miles addressed the bar fight right off the top of the show. He says the Tigers are ready to put it behind them, so they can focus on the season.
"I think the wanton desire to redirect this team, that responsibility is being taken on by everybody on it," Miles says.
Fans say that's exactly what they want to hear. "I think we should focus on the season since the first game is only ten days away," says LSU student Jon Cefalu.
"It's time to close it out," adds Corey Gautreaux. "It's time to focus on football now. Whatever happens, happens."
Fans had several questions about the bar fight, and then they moved on. Discussion ranged from focus on several up-and-coming players to preparation for the season opener against Oregon.
