STORMTRACKER 33 — Strong High Pressure building over the Gulf Coast coupled with humidity already in place will produce dangerous heat conditions. High temperatures in mid 90's but the Heat Index values will be 108-114 degrees. Isolated storms will only produce limited areas of relief. An Excessive Heat Watch means that prolonged period of hot temperatures is expected. The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity will combine to create a dangerous situation in which heat illnesses are possible.
