Lafayette, La (NBC33) — On August 2, Lafayette Police responded to an area hospital regarding a stabbing victim at that location.
The victim advised police that he became involved in a physical disturbance with several individuals. One of the suspects produced a knife during the struggle and stabbed the victim in the chest. The victim was transported to the hospital by a friend for his injury.
The suspect is described as a tall black male with dreadlocks wearing a white t-shirt and green shorts. The victim, a 23 year old male of Lafayette, remains in the hospital. The cause of the altercation is still unknown.
