Invest 91 continues to move to the WNW in the Eastern Atlantic. It is located about 350 miles to the East of Martinique. The National Hurricane Center gives this area a ninety percent chance of becoming a tropical cyclone in the next two days. Although, it seems very likely that a tropical depression or storm could form later today. At that point, watches and warnings will likely be issued for the Lesser Antilles and possibly Puerto Rico.
The future track of this system is still uncertain. The longer it has stayed disorganized, the more the tracks have shifted to the south and west. This system could impact the Bahamas, and possibly Florida or other parts of the East Coast. We will continue to track it over the next few days.
We are always tracking the tropics here in the STORMTRACKER33 Weather Center, and we will keep you updated with up to the minute information as it becomes available. Also, you can follow us on Twitter and Facebook @STORMTRACKER33 for even more updates.
