Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — Women got their chance to strap on the pads and hit the gridiron at LSU on Friday.
It was part of the "Lady Tiger 101 Football Clinic". The ladies were given the chance to take a snap, throw the ball and play defense just like the football team.
They also went through a variety of drills with the assistant coaches.
Kathy Miles, wife of head coach Les Miles, says it's an opportunity for the female fans to experience some of the same things the players do.
This is the seventh annual "Lady Tiger Football 101 Clinic".
