Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — A section of River Road in Baton Rouge is now reopened to traffic.
River Road was closed just south of Brightside Lane near the BREC Farr Park Equestrian Center.
About a mile of the road was closed back in mid-May because water was seeping through the levee due to the rising Mississippi River.
