Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — A new Non-Profit Organization is looking to help the homeless in the capitol city go from curbside to country club.
City of Hope fellowship is a non profit organization in Baton Rouge working to help homeless and released prisoners get back on their feet.
They look to provide trade and life skills, safe transitional housing, mentoring and eventual job placement.
"Some of them have been incarcerated for so long their family's deceased. so they literally have nothing except the shirt on their back and they are so humble when they first come out they're looking for an opportunity, they're looking for a chance." said William Bradford, City of Hope Director
