Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — Here are a list of where fireworks are legal to shoot within the NBC33 viewing area:

- East Baton Rouge Parish

- Baker

- Brusly

- Denham Springs

- Gonzales

- City of Lafayette

- Napoleonville

- New Roads

- Port Allen

- Rural West Baton Rouge Parish

- St. Mary Parish

- Walker

- Zachary

FIREWORKS LEGAL, WITH RESTRICTIONS:

- Addis: no projectile fireworks.

- Carencro: Residents allowed to pop fireworks in their yards, but not on public streets.

- Donaldsonville, only in public parks with a permit issued by the fire chief.

- Duson: Fireworks allowed until 8 p.m. July 4.

- Iberia Parish: Fireworks allowed, except in New Iberia

- Rural Lafayette Parish, Broussard and Youngsville: Fireworks are allowed June 30 to July 2 from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. On July 4 and July 5, fireworks are allowed from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

- Rural Lafourche Parish: Fireworks can be purchased through July 5 and discharged from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. On July 3 and July 4, the hours for using fireworks are extended until midnight. However, the sale and discharge of bottle rockets is prohibited.

- St. Francisville: July 4 from 6 p.m. to midnight.

- Slaughter: Until midnight July 5.

- Sorrento: On July 4 only from 10 a.m. to midnight.

- Rural St. James Parish: On private property with permission of the landowner, and, if used, must be contained within the boundaries of that property.

- Scott: Fireworks are allowed two weeks prior to July 4 from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. On Friday, residents can pop fireworks from 8 a.m. to midnight.

- Tangipahoa Parish: Legal, except for Hammond

- Rural Ascension Parish

- Rural Assumption Parish

- Rural East Feliciana Parish, and Jackson and Clinton

- Rural Iberville Parish

- Rural Livingston Parish, and Albany, Livingston and Walker

- St. Helena Parish
