Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — In the wake of friday's shooting, the staff at TJ Ribs held a meeting Saturday to help cope with what happened. They walked in one by one to talk about yesterday's tragedy.
Baton Rouge police say Shawn Jones, 27, and Raymond Levie, 50, were sitting at a table at the restaurant when Jones shot Levie, then turned the gun on himself.
The managing partner of TJ Ribs called the incident "tragic" and "horrific". He says the employees are doing as well as they can and will be offered assistance to help get over what happened.
"There's three things you need to do circumstances like this, you know, you pray, you support yourself, and you support the people around you. You pick up your head and you barrel forward, and that's what we want to do," said Kevin Kimball, Managing Partner at the restaurant.
